No. The name dates back to the original site in 2014. The advice is for anyone who drives or rides.
We have rewritten the original 2014 articles for today's cars and roads, and we update them when advice changes.
Most checks and cleaning jobs, yes. Brakes, airbags and anything structural belong with a qualified mechanic.
Good racing games model grip, weight transfer and braking well enough to help drivers understand what their car is doing.
No brand or garage has ever paid to appear in an article. A small number of links earn the site money, and every one is named in the editorial policy. Our mechanic, instructor and rider write what they would tell a friend over the bonnet.
